    personal welcome
    homemade cookies

Great spot for solo travelers seeking quiet

I must say, the personal welcome I received was something else. The owner greeted me with tea and homemade cookies right when I arrived, made me feel at home right away, like walking into family house and there's cookies waiting.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know, worth every penny.

    charming surroundings
    outstanding breakfast
    firm pillows
    noise from guests
    interrupted tranquility

A peaceful retreat with charming surroundings. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and local pubs. Impeccably clean and spacious rooms come with luxurious bedding that ensures a restful sleep. The breakfast was a standout with outstanding options, though the pillows were a bit too firm for my liking. I also faced occasional noise from fellow guests during late hours, which interrupted my tranquility.

    delicious breakfast
    clean private bathroom

    Exceptional service and delicious breakfast

We enjoyed a Twin Room with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and tea/coffee maker. The bathroom had a large bathtub, and we appreciated the daily replenishment of towels and free toiletries. Breakfast had amazing fresh fruit bowls and incredible homemade brown bread. The location is ideal, with easy access to the DART train for city visits.

The breakfast options were outstanding, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.

The pillows in the Double Room were too firm for comfort.

Our stay at Aberdeen Lodge was splendid! The room was spacious with plenty of natural light, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. noise from guests

We had a great group vacation! The location is perfect for long walks to the beach and exploring nearby attractions. The staff is super friendly, and the homemade breakfast is a real treat. Don't miss out on the homemade brown bread and stunning views from the garden.

We did experience some noise from fellow guests at times, which was a bit distracting.

    amazing breakfast
    cozy atmosphere
    relaxing garden
    knocking for assistance

Had a lovely three-night stay where I enjoyed an amazing breakfast and relaxing with a cup of tea by the garden. The atmosphere was cozy with great spots to chill out, making it easy to unwind after a day out. The only minor thing was having to knock for assistance, but everyone was really friendly about it! 😊
